Brahmashri Rachakonda Kameswara Sharma
Shri Rachakonda Kameswara Sharma 1949-2010 was the founder of "Bhavani Deeksha Peetham", an Astrologer, Orator, Writer, Spiritual Guru and a Vaastu vidhvaan.For fulfilment of their wishes, more and more devotees of Goddess Kanakadurga are taking Bhavani Deeksha every year. The number of Bhavanis is increasing steadily with each passing year. The deeksha which began with 15 Bhavanis in 1981, rose to 5 crores last year.
Rachakonda Kameswara Sharma got Raja Mudra (permission) from the Kanchi Kama Koti Peethadhipathi in 1981 to give Deeksha to devotees of Goddess Kanakadurga.
To propagate the significance of Bhavani Deeksha, Kameswara Sharma extensively toured the country for 25 years and developed the DEEKSHA not only in andhra pradesh expanded to other states
Bhavani Deeksha is also being observed at the temples in Tuljapur in Maharashtra and at Melamaruvathur in Tamil Nadu.
